2. The SCRATCH ON FILM Workshop allows you to scratch, draw and paint free-form images directly onto film frames, a technique McLaren made famous through inspired films like Blinkity Blank and Begone Dull Care.
3. Make your own animated films with the PAPER CUT-OUTS Workshop, using the paper elements and original backgrounds McLaren created when he animated his classic film Le merle.
4. With this workshop, you can try your hand at the synthetic sound experiment McLaren undertook in his vibrant and award-winning Synchromy, whose music was created by drawing directly onto the soundtrack area of the film strip.
