1. For those of us who remember a time when computers used floppy diskettes, monitors had two tones of green, and dial-up internet was not even invented yet - this one is a tribute to us.
2. I was looking for a simple and cheap basic calculator app that did not try to up-sell me with in-app purchases, bombard me with ads, or force me to pay a subscription just to use it.
3. If there is enough of it I plan to expand on this concept with some lofty ideas for the "AI" in the future - including more interactions and features to keep it fun and unique.
4. I was also trying to find a no-frill-old-school aesthetic vibe.
