The cards are reversible so, for example, German speakers can improve their English. A grading system is incorporated whereby cards that were translated correctly in the quizzes get a higher grade. The user should repeat the quizzes to get all cards at the highest grade. For each card, audio clips are included for both the front and the back (thus giving approximately 4 hours of audio for each language). The audio for the French and Spanish was recorded by first language speakers, the English audio was recorded by a second language speaker and the German audio was recorded by a third language speaker..
