It uses single oscillator with 4 types of waveforms: saw, square, triangle and sine. You can play in two modes: chromatic keyboard and more creative "ribbon" mode. In the "ribbon" mode you can smoothly change pitch of the oscillator and resonances level of the low-pass filter. The filter’s cutoff can be modulated by LFO with wide frequency range.
