1. MedPoint allows any PACS on the market to inherently send Radiology studies securely to an iOS device.
2. You can query your PACS through a web browser and push studies to your device if automated rules don't suffice.
3. The self-destruct feature ensures even the anonymized and encrypted files are destroyed without your physicians having to remember to delete them.
4. Your existing PACS can view each device as a local DICOM destination.
5. And, if the message is not acknowledged, MedPoint will facilitate you in taking the steps necessary to complete the critical communication.
6. If a message needs to be delivered quickly, the Critical Findings mode will ensure it is received.
7. No longer will they need to connect to a VPN, login to a system and search for a patient to view the studies.
8. You can query/retrieve straight from your mobile devices, or even through a Restful API, you can add your own buttons to your EMR, Website, RIS or PACS.
9. The administrative preferences are all browser based and the rules are incredibly powerful, yet simple.
10. Essentially, it allows providers to securely chat, communicate via 2-way audio and 2-way video.
11. The physicians can now show areas of interest by tapping the area on the iPhone screen.
