That is, if you don’t get any pieces in the central column it’s almost impossible to win. Therefore every game amongst experienced players starts the same, fighting for spots in the central column. Connect Forever fixes this by allowing the column grid to wrap around forever, both horizontally and vertically, so there is no ‘edge’ of the board.
