1. FingerWorks gives you a note to locate starting on the 6th string of your guitar.
2. From there, add one string at a time until you become fluent with all of the notes on the guitar neck!
3. FingerWorks is a free, educational tool to learn the notes on a fretboard of a guitar.
4. FingerWorks is best used with a guitar teacher or a coach but can, of course, be used alone.
5. For beginners it is recommended to only use the software with the 6th string alone since this exercise can become mind-bending very quickly for a novice.
6. A left-handed mode is available so you can see the guitar neck the way you play!
7. Based on your settings you will have to find the next note on the next string, which is shown on the screen.
8. The idea of FingerWorks came from a real exercise practiced every day with a guitar teacher, but now you have access to your own virtual guitar teacher on your Mac!
