This is because three countries in Asia, China, Japan, and Korea share the similar problems such as decline of agriculture, necessity of food education and concern of quality of life in urban areas and it is necessary to solve these problems urgently. To achieve this aim, there are three objectives: (1) to nurture students for advancing ‘total design for urban agriculture and environment’; (2) to promote innovative dual degree programs ’Switch dual degree program’ combining different areas of horticulture and engineering because integrated knowledge is essential for this project; (3) to set up triple option program.
