I use this for storing my photos which I upload to Instagram. The issue is, it tends to crash a lot; making it hard to download just one photo a lot of the time.
  • Video bug!

    By revieweroncé
Google says that .MOV video files are a supported file type, however I’m unable to play any of my videos. This is an issue that’s been happening ever since I first got the app last year. No updates have help, which tells me you’re either doing it on purpose or not aware (even though I’ve seen several people online complain about the same issue). I’ve tried deleting and reuploading videos, deleting and reinstalling the app, my iOS software is up to date on my iPhones and iPad, I’ve tried the google drive website - nothing works. The videos simply won’t play, a black screen comes up with a grey play button in the center of the screen with a line through it. I have videos ranging from 4 seconds to 10 minutes. Some are HD, some are 360p. I’ve tried WiFi, 3G, and 4G internet connections. I’ve tried viewing them offline. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting tips. Nothing works. You need to fix this bug. I want to be able to view my videos in the app on my iOS devices!!!! Please help. The googlechat team and email assistance have been no help. I’m at my wits end. Someone needs to do something. My devices are running out of storage and I need to delete videos from my phone but I can’t until I’m actually able to view them in google drive!!!! Please help. This is ridiculous, a company as big as google shouldn’t have such a basic error like this. VIDEOS SHOULD BE ABLE TO PLAY ON ALL DEVICES IF THEY ARE A SUPPORTED FILE TYPE LIKE .MOV AND .WMV ARE!!!! I WANT TO WATCH MY VIDEOS!!!! Please fix this issue as soon as possible!!! Please help, it’s now been a year and no one has fixed this bug.

  • “Open in” option

    By Ibaann
Why did you just remove this option for shared files? Are you trying to force people to use google docs? Before this update you were able to open docs file on word now you can’t anymore. Add it back please.
