  • X capture feature doesn’t work

    By jcgm1234
Good app but the x capture record feature doesn’t work. I’ll take a picture of the distance, time and calories in the machine perfectly and the picture comes out distorted... please fix this!
  • Doesn't show my gym usage

    By Hrisitouo
When I go to the app, it doesn't show my gym usage and if it does it tells that I have entered the gym for 0 min. Apart from that great app.
  • Takes your data

    By STRND
So joined the gym. Downloaded the app but reading their privacy policy they collect data like your fitness, your weight and weight loss...personal sensitive information...why?... then you also want to collect what TV shows I’m watching, what playlist I listen too? I recommend everyone to read it. My data is my data and I choose to give it to companies I see fit. I can’t use this app unless I sign away my data. I should have a choice what I give you. I should be able to book classes without the use of my data. Are you selling this data? How are you using it to improve services or is it to improve profits? Change it so I opt in to what you collect and not a blanket collection and make the app unusable! Give the user a choice.
  • Xcapture useless

    By ta-darr
Possibly one of the most useless apps I’ve ever used! Once you’ve finished and got off the machine and got your phone out, your workout has disappeared off the display so it’s too late to snap a photo. The only thing of any use on this app is booking a class. That’s very simple.
  • Good app. Quite helpful

    By Stitch Redman
I do wish you could add sections to times on exercises though. Can make a good difference when keeping records of workouts.
  • Connected app tile doesn’t work

    By kr298
When you click on the connected app tile it says “exerciser is not provisioned to validic”. So I can’t sync my data from my Apple Watch/ apple health to the app.
  • Poor logging from Matrix equipment, and no xID

    By Joe Pairman
I got the app after a long search for a way to use the “xID” feature on the Matrix equipment to log workout data automatically. It turns out that the app doesn’t support this. The XCapture feature is a poor substitute. You take a photo of the gym machine’s display at the end of a workout. Time it wrong and it won’t work — the relevant bits of the display have to be showing at exactly the right time. Then you submit the photo, to be told “wait up to 24 hours for the data to show up”. Finally, if you’re lucky, the workout shows up in The Gym app and, if you’re luckier still, in connected fitness apps. Not all connected apps work that way though — The Gym app is happy to slurp data from others (and display it in uninspiring lists) but seems less generous in sharing its own data.
  • Not too bad

    By Keeks B
Been using this app for a couple of months. Always find that uploads from synced apps takes so long to update, with even some missing. An upload competed from Strava on Sunday for my Saturday workout, but midweek workout is absent 5 days after! There is no delete section in the workout upload, therefore when missed Strava workouts were loaded manually and then a week later uploaded I had 2 sets of data, meaning my results were wrong. Good for manually uploading data, and keeping track of gym usage. Also like the challenges section.
  • No Good.

    By mohacs
It’s very poorly designed and executed app. Looks like 90’s websites. Probably they couldn’t afford a native app and built with one of those cross platform tools. Slow and sluggish. Well done guys!
  • Bug report

    By London Anni
Been using this to book classes at Tooting in London. As of this week, the app says to pick a different filter when I select Tooting. Same on the web version. I contacted the customer service but to no avail. Also what the app is missing is an easy way to see which classes I’m booked on, rather than scrolling through all classes.
